Another new baby born into God's Kingdom today! ~:D

"The man who has accepted it has certified that God is truthful."
~ John 3:33

This morning PY took the step of faith to accept it- God's gift to us: his precious son Jesus Christ. :)

A little background:
PY is going on to Medicine year two. Her passion to be a doctor to serve the need has been motivating her to strive on despite the demands of the course. It was also this passion that led her to sign up as a team member to go for a Commnuity Service Project in Yunnan with us last Dec.

Little did she know, it was God who was the Mastermind behind all these, drawing her closer to Himself, step by step...

i still rem PY telling me somewhere in the trip that she had told her elder sister [before the trip] how sure she was that she will not be 'swayed' by the Christianity influence. But interestingly, on the contrary, her curiosity in Christianity increased and she started asking questions after questions. Towards the middle of the trip, she even started attending our devotions in the morning!

Faith doesn't grow without trials.. When we came back in Jan, she and along with a few others [Christians & Non-christians] formed a bible study group [also with the objective of building life-long friendships], led by Caleb & myself. However, her health had not been well and in fact got worse after she came back. She had had fainting spells as well. There was a point where she had to take panadols everyday to supress a persistent fever and was asked by the doctors to go for blood tests! The fear of death stuck her so real! Thankfully God allowed all these to happen so that He can reveal Himself to her. As little as her requests can be, she prayed and God answered her everytime! Finally after a month of waiting, the truth was revealed when the results were out! She cleared the blood tests, which means she's fine.:) Praise God! :)

To top this up, God gave her a pleasant surprise last week: Her name is on the Dean's List [Top 5% of cohort]! Who would think of it except God? :) This shows how precious is she in GOd's eyes! :)

Do pray along that as she embark on this new life with our LORD JESUS that PY will truely experience Himself in a more intimate level - as her God, her Saviour, her LORD, her father, her companion, her lover- so that she can live out the ABUNDANT life He had called her to! :)

Thank you for your prayers, and your partnership in this exciting adventure of 'fishing-for-men' [Matt 4:16] with me. It's such great joy to know that everything is in God's good hands and in His perfect timing.:) Juz as Paul put it so well in 1 Cor 3:6-9:

6I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow.
7So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything,
but only God, who makes things grow.
8The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose,
and each will be rewarded according to his own labor.
9For we are God's fellow workers;
you are God's field, God's building.
